Assistant Manager, Contract Services
The Assistant Manager Contract Services assists the Custodial Services Contract Manager in their daily operations including but not limited to assisting with the coordination, planning, and directing the housekeeping program and contract compliance.
Director of Spatial Resources Management
The Director of Spatial Resources Management is a strategic and collaborative leader to serve in the newly created role in the Office of Planning & Design (P&D) to lead a comprehensive effort to manage and quantify space planning, audit, allocation, standards and utilization.
Mechanic (Electrician)
With direction from the Zone Manager and Working Supervisor, the Mechanic works with a team of 10-12 multi-craft mechanics to perform routine and emergency electrical and multi-craft maintenance tasks for campus facilities. Additionally, the mechanic works closely with internal customers including students, faculty and staff to resolve requested maintenance issues and work orders. Typical craft-specific work includes but is not limited to the maintenance, installation, repair and inspection of lighting and electrical infrastructure.
Mechanic (HVAC)
With direction from the Zone Manager and Working Supervisor, the Mechanic works with a team of 10-12 multi-craft mechanics to provide routine and emergency HVAC and multi-craft maintenance for campus buildings. Additionally, the mechanic works closely with internal customers including students, faculty and staff to resolve maintenance issues and work orders. Typical craft-specific work includes, but is not limited to the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment and systems using a variety of diagnostic tools such as DDC (Johnson Controls, multi-meter, drawings, etc.).
Mechanic (Plumber)
With direction from the Zone Manager and Working Supervisor, the Mechanic works with a team of 10-12 multi-craft mechanics to provide routine and emergency plumbing and multi-craft maintenance for campus buildings. Additionally, the mechanic works closely with internal customers including students, faculty and staff to resolve maintenance issues and work orders. Typical craft-specific work includes but is not limited to the maintenance, installation, repair and inspection of plumbing and piping systems, equipment and fixtures.
Planned Maintenance Coordinator
The Planned Maintenance (PM) Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Manager and Assistant Manager of Engineered Systems with the planning, maintaining, scheduling and coordinating of preventative maintenance. The PM Coordinator works closely with the planned maintenance group, maintenance Zones, and other relevant departments to execute planned maintenance plans.
Project Manager
Works with University departments to develop project scope and budgets. Manages and coordinates the design and construction firms to deliver the projects. Prepares and reviews contracts, change orders and applications for payment for contractors and designers, assuring proper percentage and documentation. Reviews plans and specifications. University representative who works with governing agencies assuring all regulations and building codes are followed by the designers and contractors. Inspects construction work for conformance to the University plans, specifications and standards, and assesses quality of work being performed. Represents and coordinates the relationship and work between the contractor and the University.
Senior Project Manager (Hybrid) – Capital Projects
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of construction projects for Washington University’s Danforth campus. This position collaborates with and advises team members and stakeholders in Capital Projects and Facilities Planning & Management (FPM), contractors, and other members of the Danforth campus community regarding design and construction for Washington University.
